i saw this picture and thought it's so cool. This is not an abortion. it's just about how a little infant before he is born is having an operation. so it's kinda having a premature operation?? well i'm not too sure. but here's the story of this picture.

"During the surgery on little Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny but fully developed hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger.

The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander
Armas, who is being operated on by a surgeon named Joseph Bruner. The baby
was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his
mother's womb. Little Samuel's mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in
Atlanta. She knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing
at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he performs these
special operations while the baby is still in the womb. Michael Clancy, working for USA Today captured the surgery on film.

During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a
small incision to operate on the baby. During the surgery on little Samuel,
the little guy reached his tiny but fully developed, hand through the
incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger. The photograph captures
this amazing event with perfect clarity.

The editors titled the picture, "Hand of Hope." The text explaining the
picture begins, "The tiny hand of 21-week-old fetus Samuel Alexander Armas
emerges from the mother's uterus to grasp the finger of Dr. Joseph Bruner as
if thanking the doctor for the gift of life."

Little Samuel's mother said they "wept for days" when they saw the picture.
She said, "The photo reminds us my pregnancy isn't about disability or an illness, it's about a little person" "The Hand" of the fetus. You can see the actual picture, and it is awesome...incredible.

God made only mankind in his image. We are uniquely singled out bearing the image of God above any other creature. He is the sole object of Christ's redemptive love. Christ went to the trouble of dying for our transgressions against God by becoming a human first. He went through the process of being put in a womb and being there for 9 months like any other, then born under the human conditions (without sin). Certainly The preexistent Son of God was a person, and he was a person in the womb."

that's the story. i think abortion is just a substitute word for fetus murder. it's illogical to use your own standards to determine at which stage the baby is considered human when the standards are flawed in the first place. it's like hypothesis testing where you set your own level of significance to state what is true.

thank God for life.

i wonder.
why do i love to collect memories?
is it human nature?
should i just forget about doing that and concentrating on getting the most of the moment?
is there a biblical answer to this?
